  2. Barrie Fall Home Show

    Hours: September 6 10am – 5pm, September 7 10am – 4pm. 
    Location: Bradford Greenhouse Garden Gallery 
    Description: Come check out Barrie’s Annual Barrie Fall Home Show! Whether you are looking for ideas, advice, a trusted contractor, or the perfect gift for someone, you will find it all the show!  You’ll see exhibitors from the following categories: Flooring, kitchens, roofing, clothing & accessories, paving, bathroom, heating & air conditioning and SO MUCH MORE!
  3. 5th Annual Great Canadian Beaver Race & FestivalIMG_5037

    Hours: September 21, 2:00pm 
    Location: Heritage Park, Barrie 
    Description: Join the celebration of being Canadian with focus on the iconic beaver. Beaver Lane includes a display of exhibitors, artisans and vendors that are all representative of the beaver, being Canadian or both.
  4. Images Thanksgiving Studio Tour

    Hours: October 10 – 13, 10am – 5pm 
    Location: Studios throughout Barrie & Simcoe County 
    Description: Artist-run, juried event of forty outstanding artists and crafts people exhibiting their work over the 4 days at 23 different studios. Discover exceptional art and enjoy the beautiful fall colours of Simcoe County as you roam on your self-guided tour from Barrie through Horseshoe Valley and along the Lake Simcoe shores to Orillia.
  5. Downtown Barrie Autumn Harvest Cider & Sweets

    Hours: October 4, 8am – 12pm 
    Location: Memorial Square, 65 Dunlop Street East 
    Description: Celebrate autumn with free apple cider and autumn themed cake compliments of Downtown Barrie (BIA). Carnival games, face painting, horse-drawn wagon rides and more.FLYING MONKEY Glass of Beer
  6. Brewery Tour with Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery

    Hours: Weekdays 2pm, Saturday Hourly 1pm – 4pm, Sunday 1pm and 3pm. Location: 107 Dunlop Street East 
    Description: Head out on a tour at Flying Monkeys and discover the creativity and versatility of Barrie’s own craft brewers. With free samples and a gorgeous view of Kempenfelt Bay, you’ll see Ontario craft beers in a whole new light.
  7. Grey & Simcoe Forester Regimental Museum

    Hours: May – August 9am – 8pm
    Location: 36 Mulcaster Street, Barrie
    Description: Learn about the contributions the Grey & Simcoe Foresters Regiment have made to the development of Canada as a country. Artifacts include period uniforms, medals, field gear, official documentation and more.

  8. Heritage Walking Tours – Self Guided

    Hours: N/A 
    Location: Various locations through Barrie

  9. Barrie’s Farmers MarketFarmersmarkets

    Hours: Saturdays 8am – 12pm 
    Location: City Hall, 70 Collier Street Barrie 
    Description: Every Saturday morning from May to November, head over to City Hall and enjoy browsing and shopping for locally grown products, baked goods, crafts and more.
  10. Play a Game of Disc Golf

    Hours: N/A 
    Location: 434 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie 
    Description: No tee time needed! Disc Golf is a flying disc game in which individual players throw a flying disc at a target called a basket. Great game for all ages!
