Tourism Barrie is the official tourist office for the City of Barrie that provides a full range of free information on events, accommodations, attractions, arts & culture, dining, shopping, museums, corporate travel, and much more to tourists and community members alike. Tourism Barrie’s objective is to welcome tourists, corporate travelers and day-trippers and to entice them with overnight stays at one of Barrie’s
accommodations. 

Tourism Barrie is a Destination Marketing and Management Organization that creates and coordinates tourism marketing opportunities for Barrie & Area through effective partnerships with tourism-related businesses. Tourism Barrie operates a year round Tourist Information Centre and the Downtown Tourist Information Kiosk during the summer months; handles toll free and local telephone inquiries and referral services and also maintains the City of Barrie’s official tourism websites.
