- Set a budget, and establish priorities; the most important elements of your wedding day
- Set a date ~ have a back up in mind in case the location you select is already booked.
- Select a location for your ceremony
- Select a location for your Reception
8 Months ahead
- Purchase Wedding Dress and accessories
- Select all professionals necessary for your wedding day to happen:
- Caterer
- DJ
- Decorator
- Officiant
- Cake Designer
- Hair/Makeup Stylists
- Florist
- Photographer
- Transportation
- Rentals
- Select Accommodations for Wedding Night
- Select Accommodations for out of town guests
- Select and order Wedding Invitations, include a Hotel card to know there are rooms blocked off for your guests, map if necessary
4-6 Months ahead
- Register for gifts
- Purchase/Reserve Groom's Attire
- Select and Purchase wedding rings
- Plan and book Honeymoon

2-4 Months ahead
- Discuss with your Caterer all menu and service details
- Schedule Rehearsal time and dinner
- Mail Invitations
1-2 Months ahead
- Confirm and finalize all details and plans with professionals hired
- Trial run with Hair Stylist
- Meet with Minister/Officiant to finalize all ceremony details and music
Final Weeks
- Final Dress fitting
- Draft Emcee notes, toasts etc.
- Pick up Marriage Licence, be sure to give to the Minister/Officiant at the Rehearsal
- Finalize Seating Plan if you have selected to arrange the tables
- Notify Caterer of final head count
- Smile, it is your wedding day!
