The excitement doesn't stop when the sun goes down. There are plenty of things to do to cap off a fun-filled day in beautiful Barrie. Barrie's Dunlop Street, running through the centre of downtown, is home to all the late-night action. All year round, this street is packed with people looking to dance the night away and Barrie is proud to offer many new and exciting, as well as many popularly established venues to make it happen! |

For venues that have passed the test-of-time and continue to be landmarks in Barrie's club scene, check out The Queen's and The Roxx Nightclub. The Queen's represents the best of both worlds: a Sports Side and a Dance Side. The Dance Side excites the senses with live DJ's and lightshows and offers a covered smoking patio. The Roxx Nightclub is Barrie's biggest club, and its multi-level set-up is home to great DJ's, several bars and private lounge areas. New to the Barrie scene are The Bank, The Ranch and Kenzington. The Bank is Barrie's newest club, and finds home in a renovated old bank building, in the heart of Barrie's downtown. The Bank is an upscale venue, offering dancing, lounge areas and bottle service and includes a rooftop patio. If country music is your thing, get on your cowboy hats and enjoy line dancing and country music at The Ranch -Barrie's own Western party, just up from Dunlop St. Finally, Kenzington is an intimate hangout serving specialty drinks and small appetizers, with a focus on live music entertainment. |

Whether your looking to watch the big game, shake your butt in our dance club or book a special event (private of corporate), the Queen's can offer it all!
History of The Queen's Hotel
For over 150 years the yellow brick façade and white washed trim of the Queens Hotel has been a fixture on Dunlop Street. A place where residents and out of town guests have gathered to meet, eat, relax and have a drink.
“The Queens” survived the devastating fire that very nearly consumed downtown Barrie in 1875. It has also withstood the great depression and several recessions, world wars and even a prohibition on liquor sales from
1919 through 1927.
Today a broad cross section of patrons is served, from the lunch and dinner crowd to those seeking late night entertainment. All find a warm welcome, comfortable surroundings and a cool drink. Every community needs a heart and for all these many years, The Queens has helped to keep a beat in downtown Barrie.
