Fall Colours

The autumn colours blanketing Simcoe County's beautiful landscape create the ideal time to visit the Barrie Area.  Come experience the changing of seasons, taking in some fabulous shopping, delectable dining and entertaining events and attractions all set in the midst of magnificent fall colours. 

Take a scenic fall colour drive around the area, stealing panoramic views of the Barrie countryside, breathtaking in its colour and vastness. The brilliant reds, vibrant oranges, and dazzling golds are sure to leave a lasting impression. Popular areas known for their spectacular vistas are the Horseshoe Valley region just northeast of Barrie, and the rolling hills northwest of Barrie heading towards the village of Creemore.

Traditionally, the fall season peaks from late September to mid October.
