Scenic Caves Nature Adventures
Scenic Caves Nature Adventures is set in one of Canada’s sixteen designated UNESCO world biosphere reserves at the highest point of the Niagara Escarpment. The Escarpment is home to an exceptional diversity of flora and fauna. The trail of caves/caverns/crevasses features many types of moss, ferns, and lichens such as the rare Maiden’s Hair fern grow on the rocks. Ravens nest on the rocky cliffs. The woodlands provide protection for a variety of birds, animals and reptiles. The pond is teeming with aqua life. Winter also provides great opportunities for viewing animal and bird tracks.
