SKIING & SNOWBOARDING
Feel the Rush with 26 ski runs, 304 feet of vertical rise, 6 lifts and a terrain park equipped with over 20 features. Horseshoe will deliver all the excitement you can handle! While you’re here, come and try Cross country skiing. With over 35kms of double track set machine groomed trails, we offer some of the best Nordic trails in Canada.
KIDS KORRAL
Our Kid Korral is for our younger guests ages 5-12. In the summer, we offer a fun filled, adventure focused summer camp with half day, full day and weeklong programs. In the winter months for those future snow sport enthusiasts our Kids Korral focuses on ski and snowboard lessons featuring half and full day programs. Our individualized programs are developed to provide a fun and positive atmosphere for your children to learn in! Programs are available for all ages and skill levels, ski lessons are offered to those as young as 4 years old.
OUTDOOR ADVENTURES
Horseshoe Adventure Park – Come visit Ontario’s outdoor play ground! The Adventure Park features Canada’s only fully operational ogo park, a 32 foot Climbing wall, Canada’s only Zip Flyer, a Skate Park, Ridgetop Mini Golf, Euro Bungy, Red Horse Maze, and Downhill Mountain Biking! Get your kicks all-year round at the Horseshoe Adventure Park!
Hummer Tours - Take a ride on the wild side with ERA Tours. Come and experience the beautiful and rugged terrain as your driver delivers an expert demonstration of the Hummer's capabilities. Each tour lasts one hour and can accommodate 10 people comfortably with seat belts.
Tree Top Trekking – Get harnessed in and live an unforgettable experience at the tops of the trees. Experience fun and challenging courses high about the forest floor or try the zip lines for an adrenaline rush. We offer many different courses to suit every skill level for ages 5 and up.
Segway Adventures – Begin with a 10-15 minute training session before starting your guided tour through the scenic forest on two wheels!
Snow Tubing – Our Tube Park features 6 chutes to fly down and a new magic carpet to whisk you back up fast!
Yamaha Riding Adventures – Experience Off-Road Motorcycling, ATV Thrills, Snowmobiles and more. With endless kilometers of natural trails through the rugged Horseshoe Valley Forest, riders will encounter a wide range of challenging terrain on their guided tours. Come experience the hills and valleys, snow peaks and grassy meadows, mud and gravel pits and much more!
GOLF
Horseshoe Resort offers two distinctly different 18-hole golf experiences. Choose from the Valley Course for an unforgettable experience in a woodland setting or the unique challenges of the Highlands course, rated in the top 50 of all public and resort courses across Canada by The Globe and Mail. Check out our 10-acre driving range to warm up for a big game or just to stay on top of your game.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
With a variety of dining options available we have something for whatever mood you're in.
The Last Yard is a cafe style restaurant that offers light snacks and a modest menu. Located at our Highlands Clubhouse the restaurant is a favorite for locals and golfers alike, open during summer months only. The Crazy Horse Restaurant is pub style and is perfect for families with a fun-filled atmosphere, friendly service and casual food. Enjoy lunch, dinner or drinks on the patio or by the fire with winter views of the slopes and summer views of the Valley Golf Course. Silks Dining Lounge is an elegant dining room where superb cuisine, from light snacks to fine lunches and dinners are served in an inviting atmosphere of wing back chairs, soft music and great service. Silks Lounge is located right next to the dining room and offers cocktails and light snacks. The leather sofas, wing back chairs and hardwood floors make it a perfect meeting spot for a business meeting or after dinner night cap while listening to our live Jazz musicians (seasonal). Show Brew is our coffee shop that offers lattes, mocha's, espresso's and all the classics to keep you warm in the winter and awake year round! During the winter months the cafeteria is opened and offers soups, sandwiches, chili, pizza, snacks and more. The cafeteria offers a great view of the hill too so that Mom can relax and still keep an eye on the kids.
