Swing and Zip Through the Trees
For an adrenaline-filled adventure, head to Treetop Trekking, Ontario’s original zip line and aerial game park. During the 3-hour experience, you will be outfitted in a harness and helmet as you climb, balance and zip your way through the forest canopy. It's a great way to challenge yourself and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Copeland Forest.
Get Spooked on a Ghost Tour
On Saturday evenings in July, take a lantern-lit guided tour revealing the supernatural side of Discovery Harbour! The tour is approximately 1.5 – 2 hours, and proceed rain or shine! The best thing about summer is the fresh, local fruit. Spend the day at Barrie Hill Farms, where you can take a wagon ride to the fields and pick your own berries. While there, step into the market and grab some home-baked pies, freshly picked corn, green & yellow beans, potatoes and more.
Cheer on the Baycats at a Home Game

Cycle Around the Bay
Barrie’s waterfront is beautiful year-round, especially in the summer when you can enjoy the 6.7 km waterfront path on your bike. Don’t have your bike, Born to Ride Bicycle can rent you everything you need for a few hours or a whole day, or join them on a 1.5-hour guided tour. Be sure to head downtown and grab a bite to eat at one of the many patios that line Dunlop Street.
