Think film, art, music, fashion and poetry. The Mosaic Nights Festival is not just a film series, it is a cultural immersion happening against the backdrop of beautiful Simcoe County! The Mosaic Nights Festival is a celebration of 3 international films embedded in 3 different cultural extravaganzas, in 3 locations around South Simcoe County, over 3 Saturday nights in the late summer. The Mosaic Nights Festival will bring the world to Simcoe County through these unique cultural experiences! This event will offer outdoor viewing of an acclaimed feature-length film with a pre-movie experience featuring the food and music of each ethno-cultural group highlighted in the films. This year's series will focus on the cultures of Iran, South East Asia, and other multicultural communities. Culturally specific food trucks and vendors will offer take-out/picnic style opportunities each evening. Dance performances and short lessons will be offered to allow participants to experience the culture first hand.
