Description: Take a stroll through Barrie's Arboretum in Sunnidale Park and view a wide variety of trees, plants and shrubs all labeled for your interest. Sunnidale Park offers 70 acres of outdoor fun including a playground, numerous trail and an off-leash dog park.

1. Barrie Waterfront Festival
May 24 - 26, 2019

Location: Centennial Park, Downtown Barrie
15th Annual Spring line-up will present live bands from a variety of genres. For your added enjoyment, free outdoor entertainment will be brought to the table; street buskers, a midway with rides, face painting. street vendors, fresh food, treats, contests and food trucks.

2. Lawn Chair Luminata
June - August every Wednesday
Cost: Free
Location: Downtown Barrie
A free summer series offering a diverse range of entertainment in Downtown Barrie every Wednesday evening, weather permitting. The Barrie Thunder Classics showcase their classic and custom cars and trucks, and the Barrie Film Festivals presents free outdoor screenings on select evenings. Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs.

3. Celebrate Barrie 2019
