Jim Payetta
The HorsePower Sports & Entertainment Group Inc. OHL Barrie Colts, HP Sports Bar & Grill

Jim is an entrepreneur and business executive with over thirty-five years of experience in the advertising and marketing industry, media industry, entertainment and sports industries, and the investment industry. Jim attended North Texas State University in Denton, Texas studying music and music composition. After touring extensively, Jim settled in Toronto, where he worked as a freelance and studio musician.  

Jim then went into the advertising industry in the last 1980's and formed an advertising agency, Benjamin James, which after a series of acquisitions and a merger, was sold to a public company. After selling the advertising agency, Jim formed Dual Media Productions Inc., which produced television series, published magazines and created a sophisticated e-commerce solution for the marine industry and consumers. Jim has won numerous national and international awards for creative excellence in advertising and is the past President of the Canadian Association of Professional Advertising Agencies 

In 2004 Jim and Lyle Stein formed Red Barn Capital Inc., a private wealth management company in Toronto. Red Barn was later sold to Leon Fraser & Associates. In 2007, Jim purchased Barrie Speedway, and in 2008 it became part of the company that owns the Barrie Colts OHL Hockey Team. Jim became a partner in the Horsepower Sports and Entertainment Group Inc., working with Howie Campbell to make the OHL Barrie Colts one of the most respected OHL Franchises. Jim's company, Bluesky Business Development Inc., consults for business development, marketing, financing, and mergers and acquisitions.
