Located in Barrie’s northwest corner, Sunnidale Park spans 48.5 acres of lush green space and winding trails. Once home to the Barrie Country Club, it now features the Barrie Arboretum, playground equipment, and the Dorian Parker Community Centre. 3. Nine Mile Portage Heritage Trail – Walk Through History

In winter, the trails transform into routes for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing—making it a year-round destination.

Stretching 28 kilometres along a former CN rail line, the Oro-Medonte Rail Trail offers a quiet and scenic journey through rural landscapes and lakeside vistas.
