Week one sets the tone for the season with a strong mix of live bands, themed nights, karaoke favourites, and community events happening across downtown Barrie. Expect lively patios, late-night sets, and plenty of opportunities to discover local talent.

Canada Day week brings an extra burst of energy to Barrie, with festivals, fireworks, and extended live music programming across the city. Downtown transforms into a celebration hub, with patios, stages, and streets filled with activity.

One of the biggest summer weekends in the city, Ribfest Downtown combines live music, entertainment, and classic festival energy with mouth-watering food vendors and non-stop performances all weekend long.

Canada Day in Downtown Barrie
Celebrate Canada’s birthday in the heart of downtown with live entertainment, waterfront activities, patio dining, the annual Canada Day Cupcake Ceremony, and a spectacular fireworks finale over Kempenfelt Bay.
