This captivating performance will take you on a journey across the globe through a medley of travel-inspired songs that will ignite your wanderlust and transport you to far-off destinations.

Imagine soaring through the skies as you sway to the timeless melodies of "Come Fly with Me" recorded by Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé, feeling the wind in your hair as you groove to Tina Turner's iconic "Proud Mary" while rollin’ down the river, and contemplating a midnight train ride to Georgia with soulful tunes that will tug at your heartstrings.

From the bustling streets in Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi" to the enchanting plains of the Serengeti with Toto's "Africa," each song in the repertoire will paint a vivid picture of diverse cultures and landscapes, inviting you to dream, explore, and embrace the beauty of our world through the universal language of music.

Moreover, brace yourself for a special treat as Bravado Show Choir collaborates with the "Technicolour Choir" of Cardiff, Wales. Together they will perform a new arrangement by Technicolor Choir director Patrick Steed of “From Now On” from “The Greatest Showman”, including a sparkle of “Home” from “The Wiz”, showcasing the blending of voices from different corners of the globe in a celebration of musical unity and creativity.

"Our selection of songs for 'Travelado’ reflects a diverse tapestry of musical genres and destinations, capturing the essence of travel in every note. From the soaring melodies to soulful rhythms, each song is a musical postcard that invites you to embark on a journey of discovery and imagination. With an harmonious blend of classics and contemporary hits, we aim to transport our audience to different parts of the world through song," says Director Ellen Wells.

This season, Ellen Wells, takes the helm as Bravado’s new Director, bringing a wealth of musical expertise to the ensemble. She currently serves as a music educator at Pickering College in Newmarket, where she leads choirs, and jazz bands, and directs musical theatre productions.
