Join us May 25th & 26th to meet some of your favourite Ontario farmers and artisans, to hear about their stories and learn about where your food and favourite local products come from! After meeting your local farmers, don’t forget to head out on a wagon ride out to our asparagus fields to meet Farmer Morris while picking your own farm fresh asparagus!
What's On:
- Begin your day meeting some of your favourite local farmers and artisans, connecting with your food and those who make it;
- Stop by our Silo Café and grab your favourite asparagus inspire treats, and listen to a reading from local children’s author Carolyn Morris, at 10AM & 2PM along with her 5-day-old ducklings. Carolyn will be available from 9AM until 3PM for duckling cuddles, facts, jokes & photos;
- Jump on a wagon to our picking fields, where you can pick your own farm-fresh asparagus. Farmer Morris will join you at 11AM and 1PM!
- Enjoy a scenic wagon ride back to our pick-your-own huts, then finish your day at our Farm Market, where you can enjoy samples and shop all your local favourites to bring home
