Come Try Rowing Day & Open House
Do you want to learn more about the Barrie Rowing Club and the sport of rowing? Please join us on May 24th or June 7th from 9:00am to 1:00pm. We are located in the bottom of the South Shore Centre (205 Lakeshore Drive Barrie, ON L4N 7Y9) on the bayside. Its free and no experience is necessary.
You are welcome to join us for:
- A tour of the boat house and equipment
- To learn about what programs are offered and how to get started
- To try your stroke on land using a rowing machine (erg)
- To try rowing a stable rowing shell with an experienced rower
Use this link below from Row Canada to register for a time slot. They go every 30 minutes. Please register in only one time slot as space in the boats and on the indoor rowing machines are being reserved for you.
