Barrie Open Pickleball Tournament

The True North Pickleball Tour is excited for our first event at Painswick Park in Barrie, Ontario! A portion of the proceeds for this event will be donated to the Barrie Pickleball Club. This is Pickleball Canada sanctioned event (pending). Event placement will use the CTPR for your official rating. You must have a Pickleball Canada membership to enter this tournament. Please make sure your Pickleball Canada member number is entered into your pickleballtournaments.com profile. If you are not currently a member you can go to pickleballcanada.org to sign up. Results will also feed into your DUPR rating.

This will be a skill/age event with 50+, 60+, 70+ and senior open men's and women's doubles being played on June 20, 19+, 35+, 50+, 60+, 70+, open and senior open mixed doubles on June 21 and 19+, 35+ and open men's and women's doubles on June 22.

Open events with 6 or more teams will be played as a double elimination with prize money. All other events will be played as round robin/pools feeding into a single elimination medal round with bronze medal game.

As part of the True North Pickleball Tour this will be a qualifying event for the Tour Championship being held in September. The Franklin X40, the official ball of the True North Pickleball Tour will be used.
