Synopsis:
Step into the heart of a Métis home with Daughter of the Country, a powerful one-woman show that blends tears and belly laughs as it explores the journey of healing generational trauma. This intimate performance, set in the quintessential Métis kitchen, draws on the inspiring stories of writer/director and star Samantha Loney's own family. Featuring personal family photos and music by Samantha's late uncle, Métis musician Larry Coad, this show offers a unique glimpse into the resilience and humor that define Métis culture, inviting you to feel like part of the family at the kitchen table.
