Synopsis:
Get ready for theatrical chaos in The Barrie Bard's Blunder! This comedy plunges you into the tumultuous "rehearsal" of a lightning-fast, soul-shattering Romeo and Juliet designed for the audiences of our own Barrie Ontario. Witness an earnest, melodramatic Director attempt to wrangle a self-absorbed Diva Actor, a jaded Stage Manager, and a clumsy Newbie Actor as they take on Shakespeare’s most famous romantic tragedy. From plastic swords to kombucha-fueled meltdowns, this show promises a comedic and calamitous behind-the-scenes look at what happens when passion meets utter pandemonium. Perfect for anyone who loves the city Barrie and craves Shakespeare with a side of slapstick!
