Dragon Boat Paddling Adventures
Picture a long, skinny canoe (like an Italian gondola boat) cruising across a gorgeous lake with 20 paddlers + a drummer (keeping you in sync) and a steersperson (as your guide). Dragon Boating is an easy activity to learn where participants work side by side towards the same goal - to become one. Whether you are the CEO or it’s your first day on the job, the boat is specifically designed to have a seat for every skill level and requires all members to paddle together to create a smooth ride. Events can involve a relaxing leisure paddle with a variety of onshore teamwork games or be tailored towards exercise and a little competition with a few mock races creating a memorable summer day. NVCA's conservation areas offer your group an opportunity to gather in nature: forests, meadows, ponds, and wetlands.  A number of outdoor venues are available to rent for private functions. Try the Low Ropes course at the Tiffin Centre, which challenges participants to work together to succeed at various tasks that progress in complexity. Led by our environmental educators, these, safe games promote teamwork, leadership, trust, communication, and problem-solving skills.
