Waterfront Parking

A digital waterfront permit is required to park for free at specific waterfront areas. You can park without a permit for $15/hour with a daily max of $60 (rate effective starting May 1, 2026) in waterfront parking areas, enforced 24/7/365.

The digital waterfront parking permit is free for Barrie residents. There is no cost for residents to use the HotSpot app or website to get their digital permit, and no payment information is required. For a map of all applicable parking lots, please click here.

Centennial Boat Launch *parking for vehicles with trailers only
Centennial Beach Lot
Johnson's Beach Lot
Minet's Point Lot
General John Hayter Southshore Community Centre Lot
Tiffin Boat Launch *parking for vehicles with trailers only
Tyndale Park Lot
Will Dwyer Park Lot
Lakeshore Drive between Simcoe St. & Minet's Point Rd.
