Kempenfest returns to Barrie’s beautiful waterfront for its 53rd year from Friday, August 1 to Monday, August 4, 2025. Known as one of the largest and most beloved outdoor arts and music festivals in Ontario, Kempenfest continues to attract visitors from across the province for four action-packed days of creativity, live music, food, local culture, and family fun. Stretching over two kilometers along Kempenfelt Bay, the festival offers something for every age and interest.

Pack your swimsuits, grab your crew (ages 5 and up!), and hop on the GO train for a memorable day trip. (The itinerary can be done on foot or by bike).
